Paul Wesley (aka Pawel Tomasz Wesley) is an award-winning actor, producer and director of films most well-known for his work on the television show The Vampire Diaries. His work on the series has garnered him several awards, nominations and accolades. This includes the Teen Choice Awards and the "Young Hollywood Awards". Wesley was born on the streets of New Brunswick New Jersey, United States. During his high school years he showed an interest for acting. He then enrolled at Rutgers University. The school dropped him after realizing what could he do as an actor. He made his first TV appearance on the American TV soap opera Another World. In the span of two years, he portrayed the main role in Wolf Lake on CBS. In the popular American television show The Vampire Diaries he played the role of Stefan Salvatore. He has also directed a few episodes of the popular series. After his first appearance in the movie The Last Run he has appeared in several popular movies. His most recent performances as an actor in Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer included support role. In addition, he's quite famous on social media. He has over 13 million Instagram followers as well as more than 4.1 million Twitter followers.
